THE SECOND COMPANY, GOVERNOR’S FOOT GUARD IS A HISTORICAL STATE MILITARY ORGANIZATION, HEADQUARTERED IN NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT. THE UNIT WAS FOUNDED DURING THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR ERA, AND IS COMPRISED OF A GROUP OF MEN AND WOMEN VOLUNTEERS, DEDICATING THEIR TIME AND SERVICES TO THE GOVERNOR AND THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT.
